Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Columbia Presbyterian Church has a designated parking lot located behind the church. We ask that you utilize the parking lot BEFORE parking along Kirk Rd which runs in front of the church. Columbia Presbyterian Church, Hampton Inn & Suites in Decatur, and The Solarium are within a 2 mile radius. Please utilize carpool, UBER, and LYFT when you can. The Solarium has limited parking but they've indicated you can park along both sides of W. Hill Street.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are a block of rooms available at The Hampton Inn & Suite, located in Decatur. Please ask for the Feddern-Pryzbek Wedding rate, this rate will be honored until the end of Nov. If there are any issues with booking of rooms, please contact Julia Jackson, she will be happy to assist you. The Hampton Inn & Suites. 116 Clairemont Ave, Decatur, GA 30030. Phone (404) 377-6360 There is also a Courtyard by Marriott located directly to the left of The Hampton Inn & Suites. These two hotels are nestled into Downtown Decatur, located within a 2 mile radius of the church and the reception. Downtown Decatur is a walking city, with restaurants, coffee & ice cream shops, banks, and a MARTA Train stop within steps of the hotel.

Can I bring a guest? Are kids allowed?

Answer

Your invitation will speficically be addressed to indicate if a guest or children are included, unfortunately related to the size of the wedding both of these can’t be accommodated for everyone.

What does an unplugged ceremony exactly mean?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present in the moment, please leave your cellphone/cameras in the car. We have the photography covered and are more than happy to share the pictures with you. No photography will be allowed in the church.
