Cannon Club Piano Bar at Gallery Inn
Vintage-cool piano bar with full-bar service and savory tapas with great cocktails and environment. We recommend the Passionfruit Rum Punch. Roam the property, including the upstairs roof, adorned with statues and lush greenery and fountain pool. Located on Calle San Sebastian in Old San Juan.

One space, three bars, the first room is considered the dive bar, followed by the cocktail bar, and lastly the live music bar with salsa dancing.
La Mallorca
This is the spot for breakfast, coffee, pastries. Centrally located and solid, traditional food options. Recommendations: Tostada, a mallorca (their signature sandwich), or quesitos.
La Vergüenza Viejo San Juan
Casual, multi-story restaurant with authentic PR food, and great views of the ocean. Salsa and live music upstairs. We recommend the beef empanadas.

Verde Mesa
This acclaimed restaurant does not accept reservations but takes in-person reservations based on a wait list. Dinner begins at 5pm, but fills up quickly, with wait times as short as two hours.
Via Appia's
Located in the Condado neighborhood, about 15 min away from Old San Juan, this Italian restaurant is a favorite of locals and serves great pizza and Italian food. We recommend the Linguini in clam sauce. Located in the heart of Condado, it is walking distance from stores, restaurants and bars, as well as hotels and casinos, such as Casino Del Mar a 5-minute walk away. La Ventana al Mar beachside park is also 10-minute walk away.

Isla Verde Beach
Isla Verde Beach is a great beach visited by both locals and tourists alike, located in the Isla Verde neighborhood, near hotels and beachside condos. We recommend using the address of El Alambique, a beach-front bar and restaurant, when calling an Uber. Lounge chairs and umbrellas also available for rental at $10 and $4, respectively, via beach vendor. Cash only.
El Alambique Beach Front Bar and Grill
Located directly across from Isla Verde Beach, this bar and restaurant serves fresh and delicious Puerto Rican food, seafood in particular. We recommend the ceviche salad, although everything on the menu is delicious. Bartenders will serve drinks to-go with a plastic lid, including refreshing piña coladas (invented in Puerto Rico).
