FAQs

We know you probably have some questions about the wedding weekend. Here are answers to the ones we think you're asking. If there's something you don't find here, just ask us... We'd love to talk to you about our wedding!
Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know by Sunday, June 23 if you can join us. We're hoping you can!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

O'Hare Airport is 35 miles away from St. Charles. Midway Airport is 45 miles away. Both are good options. If you have your own small plane, you could probably land at Dupage Airport which is just a few minutes from downtown St. Charles.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire will be perfect!

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you are coming for the weekend and staying in St Charles, we feel that there are enough places to eat, drink and be merry that you won't need a car to get around. And, if you need to get a dose of the big city, Uber to the Geneva train station (Geneva is the neighboring town), and take a train into the city.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We're not registered anywhere. We are in the midst of bringing two families together under one roof. We need to get rid of stuff! Want to buy a sofa? We've got one to sell!

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you want a beautiful and elegant hotel that is walking distance from the wedding, definitely check out Hotel Baker, right in the heart of St. Charles. We've never stayed here but Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg thought it was nice enough to get married here. If you want something more low-key and easier on the wallet, Quality Inn & Suites St Charles -West Chicago is a 3-5 minute Uber to downtown St. Charles where the wedding will be. Another option is Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago / St Charles. It's a little farther away, but still under 10 minutes by car to the heart of St. Charles. Unfortunately, we don't have experience staying in any of these places so we can't give you first-hand advice.
