Please call the hotel to book with our reserved room block at a discounted rate. It is recommended to stay here both Thursday 9/19 and Friday 9/20 nights as check in will not be guaranteed prior to shuttle departure for the ceremony on Friday. The Post Hotel is centrally located in Lake Louise. An extremely convenient location if you plan to visit early to hike/travel the surrounding National Parks. This hotel has it's own private parking lot for guests (some hotels require shuttles to and from). Please be sure to book your room ASAP, the hotel block will be released back to the public 90 days prior to our wedding date. Please feel free to call us with any questions. **If you plan to visit the area early the discounted wedding room rate will be applied to each night booked with the hotel!

Flight

Calgary International Airport YYC

This is the best place to fly into. From the Calgary Airport to the Post Hotel & Spa in Lake Louise it is a 2hr 10min drive. Keep an eye on flight costs, we would suggest booking sooner rather than later as the flight prices tend to go up the closer you approach the date of travel.

Rental Car

Rental Car / Airport Shuttle

We recommend organizing travel with family and purchasing a rental vehicle from the airport (Hertz, Enterprise, Avis...) this gives you the freedom to travel easily in the area if you desire. There is an option to book a public airport shuttle from Calgary Airport to Lake Louise and back if you choose. You can find this option via link below.

Travel Note

National Parks Pass

Note, if driving a vehicle you will need to purchase a National Parks Pass. This can be done easily with cash or credit when driving on the highway and entering the town of Banff. If you wish to plan ahead and purchase a pass online, follow the link below. One adult day pass is $9.80CAD. (roughly $8.00USD). Family day pass is $19.60CAD -includes up to 7 people.

You will need a passport to travel to Canada. Be sure to give yourself enough time to receive your travel documents, or double check your current passport expiration date!
