Maid of Honor
We met when we were both trying to find our math class our Freshman year of college. There wasn't a day that we were not up to something...like going to the library of course! I couldn't have made it through college without her and could not stay sane through this wedding planning process without you. You're the perfect balance of kindness and fun. I've known you for 12 years, you got Orlando beat by 5 months! I will always hold our college memories dear to my heart. Thank you for taking on the role of Maid of Honor with such love. Fun fact, Evelynne is an Optometrist so if you can't see and aren't sure if it's due to the open bar then just go ask her!
Best Man
We met in high school. Played football together (I was on the bench but still counts). We always sat with the lineman at our team dinners since we ate just as much as them. A year younger than me so he’s like a little brother. I introduced him to the rest of the group and we became the Big 5. I helped set up the day he asked his wife to be his girlfriend and he was there when I asked Fatima out to be my girlfriend. Me and Jesus taught him how to drink beer. Unfortunately knows everything about me. Part of the Big 5
Bridesmaid
My baby sister! I could write a whole essay about what you mean to me. I love you so much even with your Gen Z ways. You're the life of any party and can make any situation lighthearted. You literally shine. I couldn't imagine a better sister and a better best friend than you. You're the perfect Gemini match to this Leo. I love you! If you need help getting a party started just find her and you'll be good.
Groomsman
Met in high school. Reconnected in college. Took me to my first party where we got hammered and have been drinking buddies ever since. I called him the next day after I met Fatima to tell him I met the girl of my dreams. Ask him about Jessie Owens. Part of the Big 5
Bridesmaid
We met at work 7 years ago. We quickly began to look forward to the days we would be scheduled together. We are always on the same wavelength, whether it's a work meeting or climbing the roof of a winery, we have done it all! And if we aren't on the same wavelength then we have a mutual understanding that she is being a Virgo and I'm being a Leo and to just take a breath. For any pastry tips go to Shannon!
Groomsman
Met in elementary school. Rode our bikes home from middle school. Was there for me when I fell off my bike, fractured my fingers and chipped my tooth. Me and Jesus were there when he met his wife and were groomsmen at his wedding. He will be flying from Hawaii to Miami!
Bridesmaid
Silvana is my first cousin. she was the second kid of the family (I was first) and the last one to be born in Peru. We both immigrated here at separate times and thus have many shared experiences. I've seen her grow up and I couldn't be more proud of her. She has no filter but in the kindest way. Don't let her be quiet, she has a lot to say just needs a little push. She lives in Miami, but don't ask her for recommendations because she will say she doesn't know but then tell you a place is good when you post about it because she forgot. I love you and I am so excited to share this moment with you! Peace sign!
Groomsman
We met in high school. Aka the Gamemaster always ready to grab some food, drink some beer, and play games. Also my Orangetheory coach that always made sure I got a good workout whenever I showed up. Learned to eat with chopsticks at his house since he never gave me a fork. Has the greatest laugh, you’ll hear him at the wedding. Part of the Big 5
Bridesmaid
I met Lauren 7 years ago at work and we were literally part of the best work crew along with Shannon. Our free spirits would come out anytime we got together. Kind of a dangerous duo. I've never met someone who cares about people, animals and Earth all the same. She's a nurse and will likely have to provide first aid to Hannah. She lives in Miami and you can ask her for recs!
Groomsman
Met in high school. Played tennis together for like a week. Hosted crazy New Years party at his UC Santa Cruz apartment. Can count on him to always show up on time to any event, the rest of the group is always late. We’re getting married in the same year! We’ll be at his wedding in Cancun. Part of the Big 5
Mother of the Bride
I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. Thank you for enduring so much so that we could be here and for teaching me to be a fighter. I can't wait to party all night long with you! I love you! If you can't find her then it is because she is in the middle of the dance floor!
Mother of the Groom
Wouldn't be the man I am today without all of her love and support. Her cooking has won the hearts of all the groomsmen (especially her pozole).
Father of the Bride
Thank you for everything and for always yelling at me to go get my oil change and tires rotated. Thank you for teaching me how to be a Patriots fan!
Father of the Groom
I know I have someone that has my back no matter the situation or circumstances.
Officiant
How lucky are we to have Fatima's uncle be our officiant! He can be very professional or very silly, let's hope for a great blend! Thank you for your support always uncle. If you would like to hear embarrassing stories please don't ask him!
Sister of the Groom
My little sister! Always following me around since we were kids and going out with me and my friends as adults. We somehow find a way to argue and support each other at the same time. Will be greeting everyone at the Wedding so be good or she won't let you in.
Aunt of the Bride
Madri! I can't wait to celebrate this day with you. Thanks to Fatima's Aunt, we have been able to travel to Miami for the past 11 years. She's always welcomed us with open arms, and our running joke is that she always served Orlando more food than Fatima - despite Fatima being her favorite niece hehe ;) Her cooking is the best and her hospitality is unrivaled.
Le baby
Honorary groomsman! We wouldn't be stereotypical millennials without our pawdemic pup! He unfortunately cannot make the trip but he will be barking us on!
