Fatima: We met at the W in Bellevue, Mohammad was very interested in Fatima's french fries because obviously he was hungry. He thought "how do I ask for french fries without sounding weird? I know! I'll pretend to be interested in her so she offers me fries". And of course he got away with it, Fatima offered him french fries. After asking Fatima about her hair routine they ended the casual conversation but later saw each other again at another spot, they started talking and Mohammad asked Fatima if she wanted to be his friend and go grab a bagel. According to Fatima, Mohammad only wanted french fries. Mohammad: We met at the W in Bellevue, Mohammad was very interested in Fatima's french fries because obviously he was hungry. When he saw Fatima he thought she was Middle Eastern so he asked her where she was from, she replied "from Mexico" and he didn't believe her. He asked Fatima if everyone in the friend group was single and Fatima said "yes, except for me I have a husband, a lover and a boyfriend" so Mohammad believed the "husband" part so he decided to take a step back because he wanted to be respectful and he was not a home wrecker. They said goodbye but later saw each other at another spot, Mohammad and Fatima started dancing and Mohammad finally asked for her number. According to Mohammad he was interested since the moment he saw her. ...to this day Fatima still doesn't believe it and thinks it was all about the french fries.

Their first date was at Top Golf in Renton, but on the way there Mohammad still thought Fatima was married because of her comment about "having a husband, a lover and a boyfriend" so, Mohammad still skeptical called a friend to tell him he was suspicious, the friend told him that Fatima wouldn't have accepted to go out with him if she was married! So they went on a date and Fatima finally clarified that it was a joke and she was not married!

Mohammad said "I love you" first and Fatima still calls him "bagel friend" Fatima and Mohammad had instant chemistry and have been inseparable since the day they met, they both think they found their person, their soulmate and the love of their life.
