Praia Do Mucuge
Nearest beach in walking distance. Has lots of restaurants during the day on the water with plenty of tables and shade. Most crowed beach.
Lagoa Azul
A 45 minute walk from Arraial d'Ajuda is a less crowded beach, Lagoa Azul. Few small beaches along the stroll. Has a restaurant and a quicksand natural mud/clay bath by the water. It's really nice. A trail up the surrounding red cliffs. Great spot. Water is calm to wash off in.
Trancoso
Famous small Historical Town and Beaches. During the day everyone is at the beach. Recommended is Nativos Beach. Some places and shops are open during the day in square. The town at night is when its open. Restaurants operated by the local homes and the square comes alive. Travel options are taxi or bus. Taxi is a 35 minute drive. $35. Bus will take an hour and a half. $7.
Ponta Do Corumbau
Located south of Caraiva. Water is calm and transparent. Can walk from Caraiva along the water to it. Highly recommended.
Caraíva
Caraiva is the nicest spot but the farthest too. Of course. It's between the beach and the river. Different waters meets to create a great mixture. Depends on how you look at it the travel can be fun. After the taxi/bus you can taxi by ATV to a more remote spot.
Praia do Espelho
Is a wonder nature sopt. Located out by Caraiva. Can access by car or foot.
Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora D'Ajuda
Located in the Square of Arraial. Has a wonderful view of the beach. Surrounded by shops, restaurant and hotels.
Mucuge Street
Mucuge Street is there main street. Full of shopping, bars, restaurants, hotels and hostels. Street opens later in the day. Few shops are open during the day.
Cervejaria Arraial d'Ajuda - Praça Da Igreja
Local Brewery. Beers are good.
Bistrô e Chalés D'Oliveira
Place was great. Food and setting. Really enjoyed.
Boi Nos Aires
Wonderful Argentina food.
Abrolhos National Marine Park
Five islands are within the boundary park. This time of year is a great time to see Humpback Whales. Great spot to Dive also. Daily buses run from Porto Seguro.

Water park for the kids located in Arraial.

Located between Arraial d'Ajuda and Porto Seguro. Spend the day learning about the region’s native marine life and for the nightlife.
Terravista Golf Course
Located in Trancoso. One of Brasil's most beautiful Golf Courses. Rent a bag and hit around. Driving range/putting green. 9 or 18 holes offered. Food and drinks too. Hotel options also.
