Question

ok when we say "hike"... what are we talking?

Answer

We have kids in the group aged 3 months to 6, so we will be taking things easy. There are beautiful and scenic hiking trails at higher elevations accessible by cable-car that are very easygoing with easy/moderate incline. We are only planning hikes like this for this trip to ensure that everyone can enjoy. Due to the kids, we will also be taking a very moderate pace.

Question

What should we pack?

Answer

We will go to one casual restaurant and have one 'nice' dinner at home, so nothing fancy necessary but if you want to bring your nicest flannel or jean, go for it! Otherwise, cozy and outdoor is the vibe. Re: outdoor clothing, here are some reccs based on average temperature: (1 of each, no need to have too many options! Question

If we're traveling with kids, what do we need to bring?

Answer

The chalet has 2 baby cots and ample baby chairs. We can also bring an extra baby cot, baby toilets, toys, books, crafts, etc. for the kids. We will also bring 1 baby gate for the main downstairs stairwell so that we can hang out communally downstairs and let the kids run around. Kids above 2: we're rearranging mattresses in the house so these kids can sleep right next to parents, but on their own mattress. Breakdown of kids' beds: Alex & Colin: Baby cot & extra single floor mattress for Elliot Eleanor & Mikey: 2 Baby cots Claudia & Toni: Flora mit euch und Lene, eigene Matratze? Sagt Bescheid. Barb & Hugo: Baby cot unless you'd like a mattress! _______ There is a supermarket walking distance away with basics like diapers, baby food, and healthy snacks. There is a drugstore with more childrens' offerings like kids' shampoo, toothpaste, etc. a short drive away in St. Anton. We will keep the kids very busy with outdoor activities and creative play together indoors, so we would recommend traveling light! Don't worry about bringing too many toys or things.

The house listing has a washer- there is no dryer listed but there is a Ski drying room, so we suspect you could rather easily and quickly airdry if there is no drying machine.
