Our Engagement Story

Michael pulled off the surprise of the century. He had Virginia convinced they had a packed weekend of “holiday parties,” including a Christmas brunch at her parents’ house the next morning. She was so fooled that she actually spent the day helping her mom set up for this so-called brunch, completely unaware she was decorating for her own surprise engagement party.

On their way to “dinner with Michael’s family,” they stopped to drive through the Christmas lights at Nay Aug Park, one of their favorite traditions. When Michael asked if Virginia wanted to get out and walk to the treehouse, that’s when it started to click. He proposed there, at the Nay Aug treehouse (enjoy the pictures below!).

Back at Virginia's house, all of their family and friends were waiting to celebrate. It was the best surprise and such a perfect night. Hats off to Michael for absolutely crushing it.
