Some love stories begin with grand gestures. Virginia and Michael’s began with an ice bucket challenge and a viewing of Napoleon Dynamite in the summer of 2014. From that moment on, they were inseparable. After high school, life took them to different colleges, Virginia to the University of Scranton and Michael to Saint Joseph’s University. Though they were apart, the distance never really felt like distance. They logged countless miles up and down the turnpike to see each other every chance they could, making the most of every weekend together. Over the years, they’ve shared so many adventures, whether traveling to new countries, spending weekends at the beach, exploring art museums, or cheering for the Eagles. Even while finishing their secondary degrees (Michael in law school and Virginia in her masters in education) the two remained each other’s biggest supporters. Today, they’ve settled into life together in Philadelphia and couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
