If you're in town early, feel free to join us for ice cream, games, and a camp fire. Bring a drink, a joke, a story or some songs! No pressure to arrive this early though!

LUNCH AND HANG OUT TIME

We'll be grilling hot dogs, and having a variety of cold lunch salads and chili available . We'll also have some activities for everyone to participate in, including wrapping traditional Persian dolmeh! We hope this will be a time to connect and enjoy the sun :) We encourage you to wear shoes and clothes that will be comfortable outside and in warm weather. Bathing suits optional for playing in a sprinker or kiddie pool!
WELCOME DINNER AND EVENING ENTERTAINMENTS

We'll start with some opening activities to get to know each other. We'll share drinks and a delicious Mexican dinner from local spot El Paso Restaurant, share some toasts, and then enjoy an evening of entertainment - provided by YOU! Is there a song you'd like to sing? A dance number to perform? A stupid human trick that embarrasses Fareed and Shawn? This "No Talent Show" is all about laughing together, celebrating the grooms, and reveling in the joy of (our very talented) community. All are invited to wear festive and comfortable clothes for this evening of connection, delicious food, and entertainment. The weather will be cooling as the sun goes down, but it may still be warm and we will likely be outside. Please wear clothes (and bug spray) that works for you!

LUNCH AND HANGOUT TIME

All are welcome to join for a lunch of salads, sandwiches, and the like (and possibly support with final wedding preparations). Camp will also be open for hiking and outdoor activities throughout the afternoon!
THE WEDDING (CEREMONY, COCKTAILS, AND RECEPTION)
5:30 pm - 11:00 pm

We will start with snacks, cocktails, and some other surprises before the ceremony. Following the ceremony, we'll continue celebrating with a Persian dinner (kabobs and persian stews), speeches, dancing, and more! It may still be warm, so please dress in something comfortable and light that also makes you feel celebratory. Think beach wedding, but in the forest! (And don't forget the bug spray for bare skin :)
