Where are the festivities located?

Answer

Our house! We are inviting everyone to spend this special time with us at our home in Spencer NY. We are located about 25 minutes from the beautiful city of Ithaca and Cayuga lake. We are very proud of everything we have accomplished on our farm and we are looking forward to sharing this with our guests, however, this does mean there are some nontraditional things we are asking of our guests. The main goal of our farm is to maintain the environmental integrity of the land. This primarily means getting rid of invasive species and maintaining good soil health. To uphold all of the good work we have done so far, we will be asking guests to sanitize the bottoms of their shoes when they arrive to the farm to avoid transmitting soil born illnesses and the seeds of invasive species. We can promise there will be no harm done to your shoes!

Will there be a wedding ceremony?

Answer

We will not be having a public wedding ceremony. We thought it would be more meaningful and comfortable to say our vows privately. However, we will be recording this and showing it at the party!

Are children allowed to come? What about plus ones?

Answer

Anyone listed on the invitation is more than welcome to come along! This will mean children and those with significant others.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would like guests to follow a garden attire dress code. This will help ensure that everyone looks cohesive in the pictures. Think of a traditional garden tea party. Long flowy dresses or sun dresses. Light colored suits or button down shirts and slacks. We love fun ties or bow ties. Keep your shoe choices simple and we do not recommend stilettos as this will be help outside.
