“We’re getting married!”

We met through mutual friends at the time a few years ago. When I first met Rocky, I thought to myself, "If I ever date a Filipino boy, it would be someone like him." Fast forward a few years later to peak of COVID-19 where we both were working in healthcare when I got a DM from Rocky (Yes, you could say he slid in my dms) complimenting my picture. He then tested me in my NBA knowledge to ensure I was an actual fan and not just trying to impress him (can you believe that?). Because of the pandemic I was hesitant on meeting anybody in person, but we agreed to boba to get to know one another and we have been together ever since. Our first date was our couples’ spot BJ's with some bowling and arcade games. Which I happily destroyed him in the basketball shootout game. He proposed on 3/30/24 at my childhood park surrounded by our family and close friends. He took me to Bj's to celebrate our late month-a-versary due to my on-call schedule and then blindfolded me to where a huge “Marry Me” sign was lit up. The easiest yes I ever made. From the moment I met Faith in person, I knew I was going to fall so deeply in love with her. Her confidence, character, and her big ol smile had me hooked and got me so hooked to this day. I loved talking to her about anything and everything, she became my best friend very quickly. One of the very first gifts she got me was a bible, and I remember talking to God that night and really believing that He sent her my way.. and I never let go. On April 21st of 2021, I took her to BJ's restaurant by Ontario Mills. Had a great dinner and when we got back to our cars just before she was about to reverse out of the parking spot, I put my window down an yelled "BE MINE!" I just felt like I had to at that moment. She was smiling and speechless at first, then asked "Are you sure?!?" DANG RIGHT I WAS SURE CAUSE LOOK AT US NOW!
