As my older sister, I met Laura the day I was born. I have a few memories with her, one of them is us going to the gym at 2am & coming home to watch "New Girl" and would laugh till 6am. In addition, she took me camping with two SGPs and a man scared us at night because we were being "too loud" (nothing new). Lastly, another memory I will never forget is when she flew out to see me deliver Victoria. I can't wait for Victoria and I to witness your wedding and to be part of all the other events in your life.

I haven’t known Laura for long compared to the others, but I have developed a deep bond with her in this short period. I met her at work, and she was the most cheerful, confident, and charismatic coworker. Our friendship grew from exchanging songs, having lunch together every day to being travel buddies. My most cherished memories of us are from the adventurous trips all 3 of us have taken which led to our group name ‘Wild Travelers’ and from there on I quickly became the honorary “third wheel." Every day, my first and last interaction is with Laura and it would be more appropriate to call her my sister since my mom has her contact saved under ‘my Mexican daughter.’

I was L&F’s roommate for 2 years. It was only 4 years ago, but it feels longer. Q❓: What do you get when a Jew, Muslim, & a Catholic from crazy different backgrounds all live in the same house together? ✅: A giant journey of growth & learning. We fed off each other, pushed each other, & loved each other. ♥ Faisel and Talal are both my brothers. Laura is my sister. The group together is my family. We have a billion stories during our time living together. Epic paint nights, late night devastation in Monopoly (if anyone asks, Faisel always won), and of course a fair share of drama too (our own telenovela). I am excited to be a part of the celebration which has been earned through unwavering love and strength. L&F are unstoppable and I am honored to be a groomsman at this wonderful occasion.

Hi ya'll 🙋🏼‍♀! My name is Lupita/Pita/Maria, another SGP (we sound like an AA group😂)! I have a long ass name so my friends call me Pita. I met Laura in high school. She asked me "are you so & so's sister?" I was like yeah. Claudia was with her at the time & I was also fooled because they told me they were twins lol. I kept seeing Laura around school. She was super friendly, welcoming & invited me to hang out. My favorite memory is Laura standing on the trash can jumping & yelling during the Dogbowl football game 🤪 Even though we lost! Another one of my favorite memories is staying late at her house writing essays on her computer because I didn't have one😘 Love you❤ and I look forward to sharing more experiences,graduations, babies, promotions, etc.etc 😘

Laura & I are cousins by fate & friends by choice. We are 4 months apart & have many fond memories. Some of my favorite are performing to Selena in her living room & sitting in her driveway pretending we were at the beach with a cup of lemonade 😂 Laura use to come over every Saturday to watch cartoons & bring McDonalds. We attended school together from 6th-12th grade. We had an obnoxious & very hands-on laugh we called "the rodeo" 🤠 & got kicked out of class for it one time. In high school, we told people we were twins & people believed us. I'm also a proud member of SGP (Cinderella). 10+ years later we've all remained the best of friends ❤ Laura & I always talked about getting married & having babies at the same time & turns out things just may happen that way for us without planning 😉

Laura and I met in 2015 at SJSU during a recruiting event while working for Cisco. As we came to learn about each other, our friendship exponentially grew. Laura encompasses qualities everyone desires in a friend. She's a selfless leader who is full of compassion and has a heart for serving others. We both have an enormous love for culture, appreciate the little things, and live to empower people to realize their fullest potential. I admire the way Laura consistently grows into better versions of herself, and her passion to make a difference in the world is inspiring. Above all, Laura's love for God, her family, and friends makes me so grateful to know her; and I'm incredibly excited to see Laura enter this new chapter with the love of her life, Faisel Skeik!

My name is Crystal, part of SGP! I’m Princess Belle. 😂 I met Laura & the rest of the girls during my junior year of high school. I think it was Mr. Arvizu’s class, honors chemistry class?? How did I end up there? Anyway, I think Laura walked me in there & introduced me to the whole class. 😳I liked her instantly because she was so nice, opinionated, & helpful. She was also loud! Hahaha. 😂 I say that with ❤. Let’s see, my fav. memory of her is when I was going through some sh*t at home & she was there for me. I was very unhappy about various things & I’ll never forget Laura was the one who told me that life is what you make it. ❤ She made me realize that I cannot control what happens to me, but I can control how it affects me. I met Faisel in September 2015 at an EBay event back in our “struggling to pay of college so let’s do these odd jobs” days. During this event, he and I were forced to stay in a no window room and talk. I brought a book to read and later he would tell me he “liked me because he never saw a black guy reading 📖 “ so go figure 🤷🏽‍♂ Our friendship grew as we continued to work odd events together and talked smack about each other as guys do! Like all battle tested friendships, years have past and we’ve had our ups and downs, but I believe the things we admire most about each other is our strong love for family & relentless thirst for personal and professional growth - rare in most humans. This wedding is another growth milestone in his life that I am more than happy to be apart of. :)

Laura and I have been friends since our old husky days! We met our freshman year after gym class. We had lockers near each other and Laura noticed that my makeup needed just a little more blending😅 and being true to who she is, honest and helpful, she helped me blend that in(I wasn’t as makeup savvy back then as I am now). I’m also one of the members of SGP, our cool little clique we created in high school. Yes, we were that great together we needed to represent😂 I have so many silly/special/ crazy memories thanks to this girl! From slumber parties, marker wars, last minute road trips to visit you in the big city, late night dancing. And I’m so very excited to be a part of what will be one of the best memories for her and Faisel.
