We booked a hotel block at the Residence Inn by Marriott Jersey City, which is just an 8-minute drive from Liberty House! The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, free WiFi throughout the property, and free bikes. Newark Airport

New York and New Jersey have three major airports, John F. Kennedy Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Newark Airport. But, we recommend flying into Newark Airport, as it is within a 20-minute to Liberty House and the recommended hotels.

Travel Note

Ways to Explore Jersey City and Manhattan

One way to explore Jersey City and Manhattan is by using the PATH train. The Residence Inn is located right next to the Grove Street PATH station, which runs from Jersey City to the World Trade Center in Manhattan. The DoubleTree by Hilton is less than a 10-minute walk from the Newport PATH station, which runs from Jersey City to the World Trade Center and can also take you to Hoboken. The Canopy by Hilton hotel is right next to the Newport PATH station. For a more scenic ride, you can also take the ferry to and from Hoboken, Jersey City, and Manhattan by using the New York Waterway Ferry. We love to ride the ferry in the summer!
