Flight

Cancun Airport (CAN) to Oaxaca city Airport (OAX)

First route: Caribbean route Flights to Cancun from Europe are usually cheaper, so you can arrive at this heavenly destination and enjoy the caribbean beaches for a few days, and then take a flight to either Oaxaca city (OAX) (for joining us directly at the wedding) or to Puerto Escondido (PXM) or Huatulco (HUX) for a change to the pacific beaches. The wedding is happening in Oaxaca city, so if you decide to first go to the pacific beaches you can later take a bus/shuttle to Oaxaca city (3:30h approx). Some Airlines that you can take a look at are: Iberia, Aeromexico, KLM or Emirates for the transatlantic flights. Volaris, Aeromexico and Viva aerobus for travelling within Mexico.

Rental Car

Hertz México | Aeropuerto Cancún | Renta de autos

KM.22 Chetumal
Cancún, Q.R. 77569, Mexico

Car trip: you can make a little road trip through the Yucatan Peninsula and explore the wonders of the Peninsula, then you can take a flight to Oaxaca city from either Merida or Cancun. In case you want to take the Magical Mexico route, you can also make a little detour from Mexico city and drive to Puebla city (grooms hometown), and then drive to Oaxaca city. Car rental companies suggestions: there are a lot of options, just to mention some: Herzt, Budget, Avis... If you prefer not to drive, you can always take a bus, the biggest bus company is called ADO.

Flight

Ciudad de Mexico Airport (MEX) to Oaxaca city (OAX)

Second route: Magical Mexico Arrival at Mexico city (MEX) to enjoy the culture and gastronomic offer of the capital. You can also visit some of the most popular attractions: the sun and moon pyramids, go to Xochimilco, Chapultepec Castle etc. - Then you can either take a flight to Oaxaca City (OAX) or Huatulco (HUX) /Puerto escondido (PMX) to enjoy the Pacific beaches before the wedding day. - Or you can take a detour, rent a car or go by bus and make a stop in Puebla City (grooms hometown) and then Oaxaca City. Some Airlines that you can take a look at are: Iberia, Aeromexico, KLM or Emirates for the transatlantic flight. Volaris, Aeromexico and Viva aerobus for travelling within Mexico.
