Closest Airports ✈️ Turin Airport (TRN) – ~1.5-hour drive - The most convenient airport for a shorter drive to Serralunga d'Alba. - Likely requires a layover in a major European hub (London, Frankfurt, Munich, etc.). - More affordable taxi fares compared to Milan. - Car rentals are available for added flexibility. ✈️ Milan Airports (MXP or LIN) – ~2.5-hour drive - Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Milan Linate (LIN) offer more direct international flight options. - A car rental is recommended due to the longer drive. - Taxis can be pricey unless shared with other guests. 🚗 Car Rentals Renting a car is highly recommended for ease of travel in the area before, during, and after the wedding. Northern Italy has scenic roads, and having a car will give you flexibility to explore nearby towns and vineyards at your own pace. 🚆 Train & Other Transport Options Italy has a great train system connecting major cities: - Milan → Alba - Turin → Alba If you prefer not to rent a car or take a taxi from the airport, let us know! We may be able to arrange shared transportation (e.g., a van with other guests).
