Sam and Fabien’s story began long before they ever imagined it would. They met at just ten years old, growing up in the same neighborhood and spending their days playing tennis alongside a close-knit group of friends. For years, they were simply that—friends—never quite realizing what the future had in store. In 2020, everything shifted. With one friend living in Puerto Rico and another social distancing during the pandemic, Sam and Fabien found themselves spending time together one-on-one for the first time. What started as familiar comfort quickly turned into something more. They realized their connection went far beyond friendship. When Fabien first asked Sam on a date, she hesitated—worried about risking a friendship that meant so much. But after giving it a chance, it became the best decision she ever made. On July 17, 2021, they officially began dating, building a relationship rooted in years of friendship, trust, and laughter. On October 16, 2025, Fabien asked Sam to marry him, marking the next chapter of a love story that started way back on the tennis courts of their childhood. They’re so excited to celebrate this moment—and a lifetime ahead—with the people they love most.
