On August 3rd, 2021, we met for our first date. Tyler had a bouquet of orange lilies in hand - bright, unexpected, and exactly right. The restaurant we had planned on going to was closed, but it didn't matter. We picked up Thai takeout instead and found a picnic table in Clement Park, where we sat and talked for hours. It was simple, a little spontaneous, and quietly magical. The very next day we were together again, putting in trim at Tyler's home in Boulder. Not very glamorous, but it felt easy. Natural. Like we'd known each other for much longer. That quiet kind of comfort became the foundation for everything that followed. Since then, we've shared nearly four years of love, growth, and the kind of laughter that makes your stomach hurt in the best way. When Tyler graduated and moved to Fort Collins, the idea of being so far apart felt impossible. So we began a new chapter under one roof, learning more about each other every day and building the kind of life we used to dream about. This past year has been made up of the kinds of moments that don't always make a big entrance - shared meals, small victories, quiet nights in - but each one has deepened our love and made our bond even stronger. What began at a picnic table under the evening sky has grown into a life we're so proud of. Now, with hearts full and hands held tight, we're ready for the next chapter - surrounded by the people who've walked with us every step of the way.
