The dress code is Semi Formal/Formal. The wedding is autumnal themed so feel free to wear items in this color palette!
No! The whole day from guest welcome, to ceremony, reception, and after party will all take place on site at Segrave Barns.
We are hoping to have an outdoor ceremony (weather dependent), and the rest of the event i.e drinks reception and dinner reception will take place indoors. There is an indoor ceremony space as well should it be necessary. The weather in Ireland can vary- but typically around September it should be a pleasant 50-60 degrees F/13-15 degrees C. It might be a good idea to bring a shawl or jacket just in case!
Due to our venue's capacity limits we can not accommodate additional plus ones that are not specifically indicated in your invitation. Similarly we can not accommodate additional children outside of our invited family members and cousins etc. We anticipate as the evening goes on the party will have more of an adult atmosphere with drinks, dancing, and good times! Thank you for your understanding.
As we currently live in a small space, and are soon planning a big move- we are not really in a situation suitable for physical or household gifts! The most important thing is that you are able to celebrate with us! Espcially for our traveling guests. However, if you wish to give a gift there is a link on the 'Registry' tab of this website for you to contribute to our 'Newlywed Fund'. There will also be a card mailbox at the venue on the day. Cards are welcome, but not expected.
As we have paid for a wonderful photographer to capture the ceremony, we ask that guests participate in an 'unplugged' ceremony and not take pictures during this time, so Lauren can do her best work. The rest of the day, snap as many pics as you want!
