Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Information for our room blocks is on our travel page! Take advantage of our group discount at the Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites. There are plenty of other hotels in the area as well. Regardless of where you stay, we recommend booking your room early, as it is a holiday weekend!

When should we be there?

Answer

The ceremony is at 4pm. We kindly ask guests to come 10-15 minutes before the ceremony to start the celebration! Extended family photos (Duffield's, Overton's, Hansen's and Anderson's) will take place immediately following the ceremony.

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

April 20th! We need to give our final guest count to the caterer so we make sure everyone gets enough to eat!

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

As long as it’s not raining! The ceremony is in the apple orchard next to the barn. We will relocate inside if needed.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We'd love to have all of your children there to celebrate, but due to space we sadly can't accommodate everybody. When you RSVP look for your child/children's name(s) to know if we have accounted for them. Thanks for understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope! Keep in mind the ceremony is outside (weather permitting), so dress appropriately.

How do I get to the party?

Answer

There is parking on site - the hotels with room blocks are about ten minutes away from the barn. The Hampton Inn has a shuttle, but it only holds ten people at a time so plan accordingly! Lyft is also available in Sioux Falls.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. Seriously! But since you asked, we are registered at Target, Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond. Click on the 'Registry' tab above to get links to our registries!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please include your food allergy information in your RSVP. Our caterers have assured us that no guests will leave hungry!
