To be close to the ceremony venue: stick near Seward Park. This area is very residential, with some busses To be close to the reception: Hillman City is the spot for you (Rainier Ave S between Orcas & Graham). You'll be walkable to busses, & the light rail is nearby but will require cresting a hill. Our favorite coffee shop, Onda Origins, is also nearby! Other neighborhoods nearby: North Beacon Hill. Close to transit (busses & light rail right in the heart of the neighborhood), more cafes & restaurants, & an amazing greenway that leads to Jefferson Park, where there is an extensive Food Forest, golf course, skatepark, tennis courts, & a great path for rollerskating. Columbia City is another cute, walkable neighborhood, just north of Hillman City. There are lots of cafes, restaurants, & shops to browse, & is a flat walk to the light rail. Know you can't make it?
We understand getting to Seattle can be a challenge! We are already planning a 1 year anniversary reception in Buffalo, & will be inviting everyone to those events as well. We would be happy to celebrate with you down the road. If you know you will be unable to make our 2022 celebrate, feel free to let us know sooner rather than later!
