Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 20th, 2022, directly on the "RSVP" tab above.

Question

Is there recommended lodging?

Answer

Because there are no hotels close to our ceremony or reception venues, we have decided against doing a hotel block. We strongly encourage you to explore the air bnb list we created under "places to stay", vrbo, or other options to stay right in the neighborhood! There are many large houses available for groups of up to 10-12 if you want to coordinate with other guests to make it a party, as well as rooms available in people's homes for an economic option, and everything in between. If you would prefer a hotel there are many near the airport, & in downtown Seattle. Please let us know if you have questions about neighborhoods or proximity. We are happy to review a listing to confirm it is in a safe neighborhood & will have the nearby amenities you might be looking for.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Laidback Summertime Chic: think linen, spaghetti straps, chunky heels (we'll be in grass, after all). Ties & sport coats are very optional. Consider accessorizing with sunscreen, sunglasses, or maybe a big floppy hat. Evening temps in August can dip down to just below 60 degrees, so consider an extra layer to slip on as the sun goes down.

Question

Is there transportation to the ceremony?

Answer

While there is not transportation to the ceremony, we will be providing transportation from the ceremony to the reception. We strongly encourage people to use Lyft, Uber, use public transportation, or ride a bike to get to the ceremony, & to return to their lodging, especially if they plan on drinking.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately due to strict Seattle laws around minors in bars we are unable to accommodate anyone under 21.

Question

What is the covid policy?

Answer

We are requiring that all guests are vaccinated, & ideally boosted, to attend any indoor events. At this time King County & Seattle currently maintain "medium COVID-19 community levels" according to the CDC & as such, we are hopeful that masking will continue to be optional. We will send updates to all invited parties if this changes.
