The Wedding Website of Evie Tate and Emily Attwood
Favorite Hiking/Running/Mountain Biking Trails: We recommend downloading Trail Forks or Strava as a way to explore routes and have maps available. Click the links below for Strava maps of route options.

Kim Williams Trail Missoula

This is a flat walking and bike path that travels through downtown and along the Clark Fork River. Great for an evening stroll or coffee walk.

The M Trail

Missoula, MT 59803

An iconic hike to the M on Mt. Sentinel. It is about 1.5 miles with 602 feet of elevation gain. There are multiple benches along the way. There are multiple options to travel to the summit of Sentinel from the M trail. No bikes.

Waterworks Trail

A trail system through the north hills of Missoula that has options on loops ranging from 4 miles up to 8 miles. It can also be done as an out and back to the highest point. This is an easy to moderate difficulty hike or run. No bikes.

Wallman's in the Rattlesnake

Hike/Run/Bike: A very fun, but more difficult 9 mile loop. See strava map for details. There are also other trail options in the Rattlesnake including the Corridor (flat old road bed that runs for 15+ miles into the heart of the Rattlesnake Wilderness) and plenty of mountain biking options as well.

Mt. Jumbo and Lincolnwood Trail System

You can hike to the L on Mt. Jumbo or go all the way to the summit of Missoula's 1500ft peak. There are options as well to come down the backside of the mountain and head into the vast Lincolnwood trail system. There are plenty of parking options at the top of Lincolnwood if you would rather investigate these trails on their own. No bikes on Mt. Jumbo but Lincolnwood is excellent Mountain Biking. Link is to a very fun ride/run called Three Larch.

Mt. Dean Stone

Hike/Bike/Run: This is a moderate/hard trail that takes you up to the top of Dean Stone-located southeast of town. There are ways to make this as long or short as you would like as the trail at the top does extend along the ridgeline of Pattee Canyon.

Missoula Pride Parade

June 19-21 is the annual Pride Celebration in Missoula. The parade is a very heart-warming event that starts at noon and ends on Higgins and Main St. downtown. Be prepared that downtown will be very crowded on June 20 for festivities and part of Main Street will be closed for the block party.

Fishing on the Clark Fork, Bitterroot or Blackfoot River

Missoula is the town of three rivers and excellent fishing is to be had. These are the three main rivers to fish in close to town. Rock Creek is another excellent fishing location that is about 45min outside of town. There are plenty of options for finding a fishing guide if that is something that sounds fun. Otherwise, it is easy to fish from the various banks in town (Double Tree Hotel and Kelly Island are a few popular spots).

Zootown Music Festival

The 2nd annual Missoula music festival was recently announced. If you really want to squeeze everything out of the weekend, you could see some bands prior to help you warm up for our reception.
