Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Chrissy Fidelus and Mark Dinglasan
Oahu is the third-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and the heart of Hawaii. The contrast between traditional Hawaii and modern metropolis makes exploring Oahu such an adventure. Downtown Honolulu brings you to the largest city in Hawaii, a place where high-rise hotels and resorts line city blocks. Creating the stunning backdrop for Waikiki Beach is the majestic Diamond Head Crater. In the central corridor of Oahu is Pearl Harbor Naval Base. Dedicated monuments and visitor sites offer in-depth World War II historical perspectives and memorials, including the USS Battleship Missouri Memorial. The North Shore of Hawaii is home to giant waves and daring surfers. Seven miles of coastline play host to surfing competitions including the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. Refer to our invite for additional recommendations! Dole Pineapple Plantation : Popular attraction offering activities and entertainment for all ages.

Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail

Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail, HI

Makapuʻu Point is the southeasternmost tip of Oʻahu, Hawaii, famous for its scenic lighthouse and the popular, paved Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail, a 2.5-mile roundtrip hike offering stunning ocean views, whale watching (winter), and glimpses of nearby islands, though the trail is exposed, steep, and hot, requiring water and sun protection. Visitors can also enjoy views from a roadside lookout and spot the historic Makapuʻu Lighthouse, built in 1909, which guides ships through the dangerous waters.
