Honolulu, Hawaii
The church ceremony mass will be at St. Augustine By The Sea Catholic church from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. We ask that you please arrive around 10:45 AM to be mindful of the ceremony start time. The reception will be at Cafe Julia from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Hawaii in the summertime brings an abundance of heat, warmth, breeze, and the occasional rain shower. Don't forget to pack a fan and some reef-safe sunblock!
The ceremony will be held indoors at the church. The reception will be held outdoors in a courtyard, weather permitting.
For the church ceremony, we ask that you dress semi-formal: suits, gowns, business casual, dresses, traditional Polish or Filipino attire is welcome For the reception: summer attire, Hawaiian-shirts welcome
After the ceremony, we ask that family and friend's remain in the church to take some pictures. There is a 5 hour timeframe to which guests may nap, relax, explore the island before cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM. The couple will be taking pictures at 3:00 PM at Cafe Julia and 4:00 PM with the bridal party. We look forward to dancing the night away!
If you're staying in Waikiki, you likely won't need to rent a car. Most shops, restaurants, and beaches are within easy walking distance, and ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available and may be used for scheduled wedding events. However, if you plan to extend your stay and explore more of the island beyond Waikiki, renting a car is a great option!
We encourage guests to utilize a ride-share service such as Lyft or Uber. If renting a car, there is plenty of parking spaces behind the church. For the reception, Cafe Julia does not have private parking. There is street metered parking on Richards Street and Kings Street as well as the post office. Metered parking is free after 6pm Monday through Saturday and all day Sunday. Bishop Square Parking Structure is open 24/7 with weekday flat rates of $6.25 after 5:00 PM. Ali'i Place Parking Garage is a private parking structure located directly next door open Friday 7am – 10pm.
The day after the wedding we invite guests to come out for a poprawiny, BBQ at Hawaiian Sun Holidays (located in Aston at the Waikiki Banyan condo complex). It's a casual, informal way to enjoy good food, drinks, and enjoy time together. There's a pool and playground as well! Address: 201 ʻŌhua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815 Time: Starts at noon Bring: bathing suits, sun protection, and a smile! :D
