Leigh Everette Sullivan

Leigh Everette spent her childhood growing up and working on her family's farm in Brunswick County, NC. After high school she earned a BA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MA from The Savannah College of Art and Design. Upon completing her studies, she taught Art at Brunswick Community College and was the Community Relations Director at Communities In Schools. Having developed a love for traveling in college, she left NC to teach English in Japan where she visited many Asian countries and learned a lot about Asian culture. When she returned home to the states, she took an internship at a non-profit art museum in New York City called The Drawing Center and worked at an art gallery and fashionable clothing boutique. In 2010, missing her family, nature and a smaller close knit community, Everette moved home to help her father and brother create the business Real Green Turf LLC. Her father Cray and brother Trey were skilled at growing sod and Everette brought her expertise in sales and marketing. Real Green Turf LLC is one of her greatest achievements and she is so happy to have the chance to work alongside family. She was also recently chosen as one of this year's prestigious Wilma's "Women to Watch" leadership initiative program attendees. Everette loves art, music, exercising, yoga, hiking, the beach and cooking for her hubby Sean! She values family and friendships more than anything and is so happy to be able to celebrate with you!

Sean Michael Sullivan

Groom

Sean grew up in Raleigh, NC and earned a college degree from Appalachian State University. He is an experienced geoscientist with a demonstrated history of working in the marine surveying, geotechnical engineering and oil & gas industries. He is a certified professional geologist in the state of Virginia with a Master of Science degree in Geosciences from The University of Texas at Austin. He currently works with Geo-SubSea, a company that specializes in wind energy. He also serves on the Clean Energy Task Force in Wilmington, NC and is an active member of the Coastal Federation of Wilmington. Sean is also part of the North and South Carolina Geological societies. Sean enjoys surfing, going for beach walks, cooking, trying new cuisines, traveling, IPA beer, and live music concerts. He values family, friends, and his family dog Lulu more than anything. He is very excited to be able to celebrate his marriage with you!

Jordan is an energetic 2nd grader that loves family, friends, swimming and soccer. She has spent many of her days by the ocean and has found a passion for the ocean and creatures that live in it. She is so excited to be part of the wedding party and celebrate her cousin, Sean, and Everette’s special day!

Jasmine Shirley

Jasmine is a 6 year old kindergartener. She has a heart of gold and loves anything that moves, people and animals alike. She enjoys soccer and dance, but most of all being with family. She loves to give big hugs and cuddle! She is especially fond of Everette whom she immediately bonded with at a family gathering and wouldn’t leave her side! She loves to dress up and is privileged to be a fancy flower girl for Sean and Everette’s big day!
