What should I wear to this event?

Answer

This is a black tie optional event. Long dresses, tuxedos, suits and cocktail dresses please! Wear something comfortable and be ready to boogie on the dance floor!

May in Wilmington typically is 80 degrees during the day and 60 degrees at night!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our vow renewal is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes, we have a hotel block at Hotel Ballast. Simply go to their website and enter the two night minimum May 27-29th. Click on special rates and enter MIS group code. The group rate is available until April 26th.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least a half hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is parking on the streets in front of and around the venue. There is also parking available a block away from Brooklyn Arts Center at First Missionary Baptist church located at 520 N 5th Ave, Wilmington, NC 28401.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make the vow renewal please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is April 15th. Please mail us back your RSVP card.
