Chebeague Island Inn

The Chebeague Island Inn will be the venue for all of our wedding celebrations! Please RSVP and let us know if you plan to stay on the island for Friday and Saturday night. The hotel can accommodate a maximum of 42 guests, and we will assign rooms based on RSVPs. We are aware that the sleeping situation on Chebeague is limited so we will do our best to accommodate everyone! If we are unable to get you into the Inn or in a house, we have listed a few hotel options where you can take a water taxi or the Ferry. Important Notes: 2-night minimum stay Some rooms have shared bathrooms (room assignments will be made accordingly)

Please RSVP and let us know if you plan to stay on the island for Friday and Saturday night! We will assist in organizing house rentals based on our guests’ needs and will assign accommodations accordingly. House rentals are difficult to come by on Chebeague so we will do our best to accommodate everyone! If we are unable to get you a place to stay on the island, we have listed a few hotel options where you can take a water taxi or the Ferry. If you have found alternative accommodations or are aware of other rental options, please let us know!

Chebeague Island Ferry

We recommend taking the ferry from Cousins Island, which offers a quick 15-minute ride with beautiful views of the Inn. Alternatively, you can take the ferry from Portland via Casco Bay Lines, but please note that this schedule is more limited so make sure to look at it. Additional Info: Parking: There is a satellite parking lot in Yarmouth at 1 Thomas Drive, Cumberland Foreside, Maine (use this address for GPS). The lot is directly across Route One. A $30 parking fee covers the weekend, so we suggest carpooling or getting dropped off if possible! Arrive Early: Please arrive early to catch the shuttle, which departs 30 minutes before the ferry leaves Cousins Island. The shuttle can fill up quickly! Ferry Schedule: If you're coming just for the wedding and not staying overnight, we recommend taking the 2:15 PM ferry from Cousins Island or the 12:00 PM from Portland to ensure you arrive on time. Ferries return from the island to Cousins Island at 7:15 PM, 8:00 PM, 9:15 PM, and 10:30 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

This hotel is located in Freeport and is about a 20 minute drive from the Chebeague Ferry. If you plan on drinking, either have a DD to get here or depending on how many people stay here we can set up a shuttle!

Hilton Garden Inn Portland Downtown Waterfront

This is another great hotel option located in downtown Portland! For this hotel, we recommend calling Fogg's Water Taxi to get a taxi into Portland. They will drop you off by Flatbread Pizza and this hotel is right across the street! Fogg Water Taxi's number is 207-415-8493. If planning on leaving the wedding after 10 PM we will need to call them to set up a later taxi in advance so reach out to Kendra or Everett.

Hampton Inn Portland Downtown - Waterfront

Another good option in downtown Portland that is in walking distance from the water taxi drop off. It is about a 5 minute walk up the road on Fore Street. Once again, you can contact Fogg's Water Taxi at 207-415-8493. If leaving after 10 PM we will have to call them to set up a taxi in advance so please reach out to Everett or Kendra!
