FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:15 PM, so we recommend arriving at least 20-30 minutes early to take your seat. If you're making a day trip and arriving by ferry, we suggest taking the 2:15 PM boat from Cousins Island or the 12:00 PM boat from Portland on the Casco Bay Lines.

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Please refer to the 'Guest Attire' tab. The dress code is a black tie garden party! We would love the ladies to wear long dresses preferably colorful! The gents will wear suits!

Question

Can I bring a plus one that is not listed on the invitation?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under yours when you RSVP. Please ensure you RSVP for both yourself and your guest!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, please note that children will not be invited to the wedding. If you’re staying for the weekend, you’re welcome to bring them to the island, but we kindly ask that you arrange for a sitter on the wedding day. We hope this gives you the chance to enjoy a date night and a weekend away with your significant other. We appreciate you making prior arrangements!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, while the reception will be held under a tent. The after-party will move inside the Inn!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony," so please refrain from using phones or cameras unless instructed otherwise. We would love for everyone to be completely present as we say "I do!" We have hired professionals to capture our day, and we’ll share the photos as soon as we receive them. Feel free to take all the photos you’d like before and after the ceremony—we can’t wait to see them!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Duh!! Beer, wine, and liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for cocktail hour and the reception! Please be sure to tip your bartenders!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request you RSVP no later than June 20th, 2025!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

This will be so sad :( If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we may plan accordingly.
