The Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Shelter Museum is dedicated to keeping alive the stories of the 982 refugees from World War II who were allowed into the United States as "guests" of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. These refugees were housed at Fort Ontario in Oswego, New York, from August 1944 until February 1946.

Oswego Theater, now known as Oswego 7 Cinemas, is a historic movie theater located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It was designed in 1940 in the Art Deco style and opened in 1941.
Midway Drive-In Theatre opened in the summer of 1948. It was built by Ruben and Irving Canter. In the late 1960's, Midway was sold to A.T. Kolinski and C. Girard. It was then sold to John Nagelschmidt, the current owner, in 1987. Starting it's 78th season in 2026. Was voted the best Drive In Theatre in CNY and one of the 5 best Drive In Theatres in the USA!
