FAQs

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport located 10 minutes from the venue is the La Crosse Municipal Airport (LSE). We strongly recommend using this airport if possible, because we are planning on shuttling guests to and from the airport for free and save you the expense of renting a car. Please add your flight info to this [LINK]. Otherwise, Rochester International Airport (RST) in Minnesota is less than 90 minutes away, and Dane County Regional Airport in Madison (MSN) and Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) are just over 2 hours away.

Question

Once I get to La Crosse, will I need a car?

Answer

No! Riverside Park (which is home to LaCrosse Riverfest that weekend), all hotels with wedding blocks and the Cargill Room are all within 1/2 mile of each other, making it very convenient to walk.

Question

Will there be any special 4th of July activities or events?

Answer

Yes! From 9:40pm-10:00pm, there will be fireworks going off on Pettibone Beach, directly across the river from the venue. The venue's outdoor patio space will be open and allow guests to have front row viewing pleasure. Due to the venue being in a highly desirable location to watch fireworks, there will likely be higher amounts of traffic around that time if guests decide to leave. Additionally, Riverfest festivities will be occurring from 11am-10pm daily from July 1-4 at Riverside Park. See website for additional details! https://www.riverfestlacrosse.com/about
