- Explore Sheffield city centre by walking from one location to the next on GoogleMaps. Begin at Devonshire Green; follow Division St to Sheffield City Hall; go further to explore Sheffield Town Hall, the Peace Gardens, and the Winter Gardens; carry on to Sheffield Cathedral. Explore along the way and enjoy cafes and shops as you wish (total distance: about 1 mile). For a longer route, begin at Weston Park Museum; head to Firth Hall; see the old Henderson's Relish factory; walk past the Diamond and St George's Square; take Regent Street to Devonshire Green; continue the walk as above (total distance: about 2 miles). - Take a walk in the Porter Valley from Endcliffe Park to Forge Dam Cafe. It's a 5k loop and George and Evelyn's classic afternoon date! If you want to venture further into the Peak District, continue into the Mayfield Valley on the walking paths. Alternately, head up the hill to the Fulwood neighborhood to visit a lovely little area with shops and a beautiful church.
