For lodging, guests are welcome to book wherever they choose. Down below, we’ve provided a few hotel and resort options that have great location and proximity to the transportation for the wedding venue. Airbnb is also another great option as well, as there are many cabin and rental properties in the area. The casinos near the state line are a short Uber/Lyft ride from the tram and may be a better option cost-wise. We understand that lodging may be pricy due to our wedding being during peak summer season for South Lake Tahoe. Please feel free to reach out to us for any other lodging suggestions or questions.
For those that are flying in to our wedding from out of town, we recommend booking flights into Sacramento Intl Airport (SMF) or Reno-Tahoe Intl Airport (RNO). SMF is about a 2.5 hour drive to South Lake Tahoe, while RNO is about a 1 hour drive. Both airports provide multiple rental car agencies to choose from for transportation.
