We're getting married!

Lina and CJ met at Houston's Halloween edm festival, Something Wicked, in 2017. CJ's friend pointed out that there was a cute girl standing to CJ's side, so CJ introduced himself and the two ended up chatting and dancing the night away to Marshmello and Above & Beyond. The two spent almost a year seeing each other before Lina moved away in August 2018 to start her college program at USC in LA. During the two years of long distance, it was full of many flights seeing each other on weekends and holidays. Due to COVID in March 2020, Lina's school went fully remote for the rest of her semesters, so she moved in with CJ permanently. The two began planning for their life together and moved into their own home in May. Since then, the two have travelled to Italy, Japan, Taiwan, NYC, Mexico, and soon Spain/Belgium. The two bond over their trips of travel and love for edm/raves. CJ proposed to Lina on her birthday trip to NYC (Lina's favorite city!) in Oct 2023. Cj chose a gorgeous romantic spot in the gazebo in Central Park, where it was full of trees and natural beauty. The two celebrated their monumental moment with friends at a stunning rooftop bar facing the Manhattan skyline after. The two have made an unbelievable amount of memories in the past 7.5 years and are excited to embark in this new chapter. We can't wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones this November. It's going to be a blast!
