Evan and Naomi’s story begins with a little bit of luck, an unreliable moving company, and a fast-growing friendship. The luck began when both Evan and Naomi decided to rent the same apartment. As luck would have it - they moved in within one week of one another. Although this did not seem “lucky” at the time, their fortune continued when Naomi’s movers did not show. Evan graciously helped move Naomi’s belongings into her new home. After moving in, Naomi was feeling lonely and missing her friends from school, so she decided to ask Evan if he wanted to grab a drink. They bonded over their love of live music, football and good craft beer. They both did not want the night to end – and from there the two new roommates quickly became friends. After two years of laughs, concerts, bike rides along the lake, and Cub's games, they took the leap and tried the whole dating thing out. You know how the rest goes.

On October 19th, Evan got down on one knee in front of the apartment where they met and asked Naomi to spend the rest of her life with him. She obviously said yes because any other answer wouldn't have sufficed.

We celebrated our marriage in an intimate ceremony on November 14, 2020. While we wish all of you could've been there, we are so excited to celebrate our love and marriage with our friends and family at Ivy Room in Chicago on August 28, 2021!
