On their first night of college, Kayla and Evan met in their dorm hall’s basement. Unbeknownst to Kayla, Evan had seen her walk into the kitchen, causing him to hang up his pool stick and cut the game short. On their first date, Evan planned to take Kayla to the Ice Castles in Stillwater, MN. After discovering it had moved locations, Evan whipped up a plan B: grabbing brunch at a cute diner and exploring shops on Main Street. Exactly one year later, he took Kayla to the true location and asked his friend Nathan to capture the moment as he got down on one knee and proposed. They celebrated in the only way they know how: with burritos, of course!
