Memorial day 2023, Brandi made a spontaneous decision to go to Sunset Music Festival with her friends Courtney and Glenn (co-maid of honor and best man!). Glenn introduced the girls to a group of his friends at the festival, one of which was Evan. Brandi noticed this very cute, very silly, cat dad, rocket scientist right away. And Evan noticed Brandi's bubbly energy, warm heart, and shining spirit. They spent the weekend hanging out, head banging and eating too much taco bell. They met up over the next few weeks at more shows and birthday parties. And after a few more weeks of hanging out and one amazing Illenium concert, Evan asked Brandi out for their first date on July 14. By September 14, they were officially a couple and on October 14, they said "I love you". All of those milestones being the 14th was a coincidence, but it has become a very special number. Fast forward through adventures from California to the Coast of France, merging their three cats, meeting their families and many nights with friends, they knew they had found their person. Just over a year after they first met, Evan proposed to Brandi, surrounded by his family on a hike in California! It was everything she dreamed. They can't wait to keep writing their story, growing their family and share many more nights dancing and eating too much taco bell...
