Evan and Amanda began orbiting each other's lives long before they met. He moved from Kentucky to Grapevine in the summer of 2001, and soon after, she moved to Grapevine in the spring of 2002. Although they attended the same high school, their respective extracurricular activities confined them to opposite ends of the building. His days were spent in the athletic wing keeping stats for the school's basketball team. Her schedule was stuffed with theatre classes, and evenings consisted of rehearsals in the auditorium. In their senior yearbooks, Evan can be found - fittingly - under the title of "Most Unique," while Amanda can be spotted with a top hat and a banana in a group awarded "Best Actress." Evan attended the University of Kentucky (Go Cats) in Lexington. Amanda stayed in Texas, moving to California soon after graduating college. Near the end of her time in San Francisco, something special happened... While visiting Texas, Amanda made plans to meet a good friend for drinks at a cocktail bar called The Usual. Behind the bar, she spotted a few familiar faces. One was Evan's. After making for her the first of many cocktails, he joined Amanda on the patio for a laugh and conversation. Years of unwittingly circling each other through mutual friends finally led to their connection. Early on, Evan knew that Amanda was the person he wanted to spend his life with. Similarly, Amanda first felt that Evan was the one when they bonded over a love of Sugar Ray, Everclear, and The Cardigans. This feeling was reinforced with each savory, scrumptious home-cooked meal he made for her. (The first he ever cooked for her was a plate of chocolate chip pancakes. She would never forget that.) In 2016, they moved in together. Jasper, the family dog, was content to be the lone recipient of their love and cuddles. However, one year later, Evan and Amanda adopted a sweet and cute puppy by the name of June. The foursome moved into a brand new home in December of 2017.
