Maid of Honor
Kyle and Eva met in 8th grade at Santa Fe Christian. They immediately bonded over their love of animals and ocean critters. One of Eva's favorite things about Kyle is that she is always down for a concert, from One Direction (yes, we were ~those~ girls and we had a blast), to Goth Babe, to Pitbull. Kyle is also very easy to jump scare and has a heart of gold. Eva still calls her by her nickname given to her in the 8th grade: Zee Youngblood.
Best Man
Trak and Ben met while working out at the Salton Sea, where they quickly trauma bonded while enduring 130-degree heat during grueling 12+ hour shifts. Their friendship has been forged through unforgettable adventures, from getting stranded in the desert to tackling wild snowboarding runs together. Though Ben may come off as quiet at first, don’t be fooled; he’s always ready to grab the mic for a round of karaoke.
Maid of Honor
Annaliese is one of those friends that Eva clicked with instantly after they met through Light Church. It's hard to imagine what Eva's life would be like without Annaliese, but it would probably contain a lot less giggles. A fun fact about Annaliese is that she is one of the most athletic people ever. One of Eva's favorite things about Annaliese is that she is a "yes girl" and is down for pretty much every adventure, including snowboarding Mammoth, cycling, backpacking, triathlon, hiking, and surfing, to name a few.
Groomsman
Trak, Justin, and Justin’s twin brother, Jordan, have been lifelong best friends. Justin and Trak were especially skilled at finding trouble, from throwing wild high school parties to late-night off-roading adventures deep in the mountains. One unforgettable night, they flipped a RZR and ended up stranded for hours until help finally arrived. Although Justin has a knack for unforgettable adventures, he is a steadfast friend, always bringing a good joke or story to lighten the mood.
Bridesmaid
Eva and Andrea met through College Life Christian Fellowship at UC Davis in 2015. Andrea is one of the chillest people, and one of the most devoted to Christ. Eva and Andrea traveled across Europe (specifically Spain, Italy, Germany, and Austria) together where they share LOTS of silly stories. For example, on a night in Mallorca, Andrea introduced Eva to John Mulaney's "I get nervous on airplanes" sketch, and a love of John Mulaney was born. Also, be sure to ask Andrea about playing flip cup in Rome, it's a great story.
Groomsman
Jordan, the more level-headed of the two brothers, could always be counted on to help Trak out of a jam or lend a listening ear when he needed one. While Justin had a knack for getting Trak into shenanigans, it was always Jordan who ended up getting them out of trouble. Jordan is a loyal friend, regularly calling Trak to check-in on his long drives throughout the country.
Bridesmaid
Eva and Zoe met through Sigma Alpha Sorority at UC Davis in 2017. They bonded through their Animal Science courses, late nights dancing at G-Street Wunderbar, Ket Mo Ree, and Parkside, and their mutual love of cows. Eva appreciates how Zoe is incredibly smart, quick-witted, and loyal. Eva's favorite memory of Zoe was "Pancakes with Ryan" on Picnic Day, 2015, where they shared a ton of delicious pancakes, made by (you guessed it) Zoe's college roommate Ryan, and then proceeded to the usual Picnic Day shenanigans. If you need someone to join you on the dance floor, Zoe is your gal!
Groomsman
Trak and Christian met while studying Construction Management at NAU and quickly became close friends. Outside of class, they could often be found hanging out, having a night out on the town, or playing their favorite videogames. Christian, known for his impressive range of voices, never misses a chance to entertain. Be sure to ask him for his favorite impersonation.
Bridesmaid
Eva and Tiffany met in 8th grade Pre-Algebra at Santa Fe Christian. Eva was drawn to Tiff's bubbly, smart, and down-to-earth spirit. One of Eva's favorite memories with Tiffany was hanging out backstage at the senior musical (Annie) along with Eva's beloved dog, Ricky. Their friendship continued to grow past high school, reaching new depths through the highs and the lows. If you want to grab a coffee, go for a walk, and just talk, Tiffany is your gal. A fun fact about Tiff is that Eva still calls her by her high school nickname, BB (and neither know exactly how that name came about).
Groomsman
Eva introduced Trak to Nico at Light Church, and it didn’t take long for a genuine friendship to form. Nico and his wife Naru are the kind of people who bring joy wherever they go, always arriving with a smile, something delicious to share, an easygoing spirit, and lots of cuddles for Field. After a lunch hangout on the Newby's deck, Nico prayed over Trak for healing. Later on that day, Trak felt the Holy Spirit prompt him to ask Nico baptize him, and a week later, Trak did his holy dunk in the Pacific Ocean, guided by Nico (and Field swimming right beside them).
Bridesmaid
Eva and Breezy met through Sigma Alpha Sorority at UC Davis in 2016, when Breezy was assigned as Eva's big. Although initially cautious about joining Greek life, Breezy's fun and welcoming spirit put Eva's nerves to rest, and an immediate bond was formed. They had the pleasure of working for the Department of Animal Science at Davis, where they were up until the wee hours of the morning waiting for various animals to give birth and singing silly songs to keep them awake. Specifically, beep beep like a sheep (YouTube is a wonderful place. Speaking of YouTube, be sure to ask Breezy who her favorite YouTuber is).
Groomsman
Greg is usually Trak’s first call when he gets stranded while off-roading deep in the mountains or desert. The two grew up mountain biking together, constantly challenging each other to race down the steepest, most technical trails they could find. Greg had a knack for convincing Trak to try the big, intimidating jumps, promising he’d hit it right after only to chicken out at the last second. Greg's loyalty was put to the test when he received a call at 1 am from Trak and Justin after flipping the rzr DEEP into the mountains. The bonus: it was a very foggy night, and it took Greg over 2 hours to find them!
Bridesmaid
Eva and Jen met through Solana Beach Presbyterian Church, when Jen was in 4th grade and Eva was in 5th. They had the pleasure of going to Forest Home winter and summer camp on many occasions throughout their youth group days. Their friendship blossomed after college, when they both returned to San Diego, and quickly became surfing and church buddies. Jen is one of those friends who is just so warm. She is the epitome of Romans 12:15 "Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep". Her deeply empathetic and compassionate spirit makes her truly a one-of-a-kind friend.
Flower Girl
Trak's nieces: Nicole, June, Gemma, and Eliora, and great-niece: Lena, will be our flower girls for our ceremony.
Bridesmaid
Eva and Danielle met through College Life Christian Fellowship at UC Davis in 2015. They had the adventure living with each other during deep-covid times, where their sisterhood was solidified over nights of watching Bailey Sarian's "Murder, Mystery, and Makeup", bible study, and enjoying songs about boba. One of Eva's favorite things about Danielle is her love of Halloween - be sure to ask her about her favorite Halloween costume she's worn! Eva's honorable mentions for Danielle's costumes are: Guy Fierri and the Evergreen Boat/Suez Canal.
Bride and Groom's Furry Companion
Trak and Eva adopted Field in October 2024. Since then, he has been on many adventures with them and loves the beach just as much as his parents!
