Question

What airport should I fly in/out of?

Answer

We recommend flying into either San Diego International Airport (SAN), or John Wayne/Santa Ana (SNA). Encinitas/Carlsbad is a little closer to SAN, but traffic can be variable. SNA isn't much further and the roads are usually open getting to and from.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding theme is "beachy, but classy", so interpret how you'd like! We also recommend to avoid wearing stilettos, they will probably get stuck in between the pavers at the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is no reserved parking for the ceremony. Drivers are encouraged to park in the neighborhood surrounding Light Church. Please allow ample time for this. For the reception, please park in the Las Flores Church parking lot (1400 Las Flores Dr, Carlsbad, CA 92008) and follow the signs to walk over to the Newby's house.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please make a note of it on the RSVP form. We will have options for gluten and dairy free eaters.
