Please RSVP no later than April 15th! Your response is essential for finalizing seating, catering, rentals, and transportation — there’s a lot to coordinate behind the scenes! The sooner you can RSVP, the more helpful it is for our planning, so if you already know you’re coming (or can’t make it), we’d be so grateful if you’d let us know early!
Cocktail or cocktail formal attire with a spring garden party twist. Since the wedding is outdoors on the farm, please choose shoes that can handle grass (think wedges, block heels, flats). Yes!!! There will absolutely be an open bar — important information, so we’re putting it near the top. Please enjoy responsibly… but also please enjoy. We want everyone on the dance floor having the best time—not needing medical attention at the end of the night.
Yes! We just ask that you RSVP promptly and bring someone you feel comfortable sharing a family milestone with. (Weddings are personal… and also expensive.) If in doubt, feel free to reach out!
Absolutely. We’ll even have a little Kids’ Corner during the reception to keep the younger crowd entertained. That said, every child is different, so please use your judgment about whether the event will be a good fit for them.
Yes, but parking is very limited — we have no more than 35 on-site spaces — so we strongly encourage guests to carpool or use the hotel shuttles (details coming soon!). If you plan to drive, please contact Eva ahead of time to reserve a spot. Because we’re on a rural farm, rideshares are not reliable — and with an open bar, the shuttles may be your best friend at the end of the night.
Because parking is limited and the venue is a several-hundred-acre farm, we recommend arriving 30–45 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow plenty of time to park or take the shuttle, make your way to the ceremony site, and get settled before everything begins — no sprinting through a field required!
The ceremony is outdoors on our family farm. The reception will be held under a large open-air tent, and we’ll have umbrellas on standby just in case. End-of-May weather can be warm, so dress and pack with the outdoors in mind.
Our wedding will take place on a large family farm with outdoor spaces, grassy areas, and some uneven ground. We absolutely want all of our guests to feel comfortable and included, and we are happy to make accommodations whenever possible. If you or someone in your party may need assistance getting around the property, please reach out to us ahead of time so we can plan accordingly and make the day as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
There will be kosher and vegetarian options available. If you have allergies or other dietary needs, please contact us as soon as possible so we can accommodate you. We want everyone well-fed and happy!
We’re asking for an unplugged ceremony—no phones, photos, or videos. You likely won’t have much service anyway, and we want everyone fully present in the moment. For the reception, snap away! Take all the pictures and videos you want (respectfully), and please send us anything cute you capture—we’d love to see them.
Late May in Virginia averages 60–70°F with occasional light rain. Please check the forecast before packing, since that will give you the clearest picture of what to expect.
We’re on a rural farm, which means cell service is very spotty and there will be no WiFi on-site. Most GPS apps will take you to the house, but you can expect to lose service about 10 minutes before arriving — this is normal, you are not lost, you are simply rural. We recommend pulling up directions ahead of time just in case. For detailed directions, please visit the Travel page. And as a reminder, this is yet another excellent reason to take the hotel shuttles — especially since the venue is accessed by a one-mile gravel driveway.
