All events, including ceremony, reception and brunch, will take place at Whiteface Hollow 251 Hackett Hill Rd, South Tamworth, NH 03883 https://g.page/WhitefaceHollow?share
Please arrive sometime between 3:30 and 3:45pm, and no later than 3:55. We are planning for the ceremony to begin right at 4:00. If you are driving yourself, please check transit times and make sure to leave time for 4th of July weekend traffic.
If you are driving yourself, there is plenty of parking space at the venue. Cell reception may be unreliable in the area, so we recommend having an offline map or printed directions. The following app allows you to download maps (while on WiFi) and then later you can route from your current location to a desired location without WiFi or cell reception: https://maps.me/. This app can also be useful for hiking and contains most of the hiking trails in the White Mountains! If you RSVP’d to take the shuttle, it will depart from the Hampton Inn & Suites North Conway to the wedding venue at 2:30pm, and from the venue back to the hotel in North Conway at both 9pm and again at 10:30pm.
The dress code is “cocktail attire” which brides.com defines as “a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable.” Suit and tie or cocktail dress would be great! If it’s hot, no suit jackets necessary. Also, the ceremony is on grass, so you should avoid stilettos which would stick into the ground like stakes.
Anything you want! The brunch will be casual. If you’re stopping by on your way out of town, just wear whatever will be comfortable for the drive 😊
Assuming good weather (fingers crossed!), the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors and the reception will take place inside the barn. The barn is very spacious and has large doors for great airflow, but if you are concerned about dining indoors because of potential COVID exposure, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate an outdoor seating option.
All of our guests ages 6+ have confirmed in their RSVPs that they are fully vaccinated. That said, many of us know too well that this doesn’t mean you can’t still get COVID! To avoid having our wedding become a super-spreader, we ask that all attendees please follow the U.S. CDC guidelines for large gatherings (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/gatherings.html). These include: * If you come into close contact with someone with COVID-19, or catch COVID-19 yourself, please follow CDC’s recommendations for quarantine (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/quarantine-isolation.html). We regret that this may mean some last-minute cancellations, but we will appreciate your honesty in letting us know you’ve been exposed and can’t make it. * If you are coming from an area where the COVID-19 Community Level is high, please wear a mask while indoors. You can check your area here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html * If your child is between the ages of 2 and 6 and is not vaccinated, we recommend that they wear a mask while indoors. You are also welcome to take additional precautions if it will make you feel more comfortable, such as wearing a mask regardless of exposure.
Hell yeah, come thirsty 😊 But please make sure to have a designated driver.
One of us was hoping to combine our last names and become the Queenthals, but the other wasn’t game. As an alternative, we’ll use it for our wedding hashtag! #queenthals
There are some amazing hiking trails around the White Mountains, from short walks to strenuous climbs. We’ve listed a few options here (https://www.zola.com/wedding/eva-and-rien/poi), but let us know if you’d like additional recommendations. The link has ideas for some activities other than hiking as well!
