It all began with water. Well for the most part… Ian and Euna’s story actually began back in their angsty teen years as they both attended Cherry Creek High School. Ian was two years older and was commonly portrayed as the popular preppy kid who liked to drive reallllyyyy fast and throw the absolute best parties with no underage drinking whatsoever. He frequented a timeless faux-hawk with a double popped collar and pooka shells. Euna was the extroverted nice girl with a hint of nerd and questionable fashion sense but was liked well enough not too cause too much of a stir (though still not opposed to bringing back the juicy suits and denim jackets, please and thanks). They ran in different crowds and would make small pleasantries here and there but nothing noteworthy. May the water foreshadowing commence.... Flash forward to the Spring of 2018, Euna recently moved back to Denver after living in Hermosa Beach for several years and her soul sister Lainey had invited her to a fun pool party at her residence in the Country Club Twin Towers. Ian was also invited through a mutual friend and though neither initially wanted to attend the party, they are sure glad they did. The two immediately recognized each other and rekindled a friendship (or so we thought). After enough chatter by the glistening pool, Ian invited Ms. Klein out to drinks to kindly help Euna get more familiarized with the Denver metro area. SUCH A NICE GUY. Euna naively thought this encounter was simply platonic as she has friends from all different shapes and universes but before actually meeting up, she found out Mr. Bell’s intentions were not as pure as she had thought. Euna was at the time, currently unavailable, and upon being informed of this miscommunication, she had apologized to Ian for providing any mixed signals. Ian was incredibly kind and though being friend-zoned was not in his original projected intentions, he graciously entertained the idea of continuing along as just friends (Yeah. Right.) Needless to say, they met up, closed down the bar the first time they met, and immediately connected. Though they didn’t know it at the time, the rest was truly history. Ian very PATIENTLY waited for Euna to be “ready” for a relationship but Euna made sure to take her sweet damn time. They both needed time to grow so in the meantime, they took on several spontaneous trips, almost always by the water, and endlessly flirted with one another when they were “both on” IYKYK (Euna’s voice echoing WE WERE NOT DATING). Euna adamantly insisted on keeping this *Friend's Status* but then COVID 2020 hit hard once again and became Ian’s best wingman. He cleverly asked Euna if he could TEMPORARILY move in to her place for 2 weeks to avoid contracting the pain in the a** virus and conveniently enough, never left. After continuous courting and romantic gestures, Euna could no longer resist Ian's devilish charm and OFFICIALLY became Ian’s girlfriend February 14, 2021 in Punta Mita laying by the water on a Valentine's get-away trip and the two have been disgustingly in love ever since. Those trips by the ocean can't be explained in words but definitely deepened their relationship and sparked a bond that exponentially strengthened over the years. There is so much more to their story. Ultimately, Ian never took no for an answer and Euna could not have been happier that he never stopped trying. It took the right time and place for everything to be as it is now. Completely and utterly in love, the two are now regularly spotted traveling, Après skiing, loving on their pups Mowgli & Loki, drinking an offensive amount wine, eating at any/all new restaurants, and tormenting the public with an endless supply of unwanted PDA. Come celebrate and help these two tie the knot in a place where a central part of their relationship began - Tulum, Mexico. We are genuinely grateful to all of you for being part of our journey.
