We're Getting Married!

Suz and Ethan first met in December of 2020 in Grand Lake, Colorado. They were in town for the holiday show at Rocky Mountain Rep, and a few mutual friends were excited for them to meet and see if there would be a connection. Well there certainly was a connection- almost instantly, and they spent the rest of the month excited about getting to know each other. Suz wanted to make it official, but Ethan was hesitant to continue anything involving long distance, so it never amounted to more than a "showmance." They both assumed that aside from running into each other here and there in the future, anything romantic was over. Slowly but surely, they rebuilt a friendship, especially during the summer of 2023 when they were both back in Grand Lake. They loved cooking together, hiking, belting out musical theatre songs, and funny enough... talking about the things they were hoping for in a future partner. They looked through each other's dating apps and talked about recent break up woes... they had so much fun together, but neither of them contemplated dating each other again... been there, done that! As they went our separate ways for the fall, feelings started to change, and though they didn't know it, Ethan and Suz were secretly unable to stop thinking about each other. In December of 2023, Suz got up the guts to admit feelings, and sent a long, dramatic, heartfelt voice memo (very on brand) letting Ethan know that she would like to date him, but only if he was willing to be "all in" To her surprise... Ethan Newman said "Ok... I'm all in." And he really was :) On December 15, 2024... less than one year later, Suz had a ring on her finger. Ethan proposed at Monarch Lake (another Grand story for another time!) by telling Suz that he had "never been more certain of anything in his life," and she would say the same. We can't wait to celebrate our future with the ones we love, in the place that is most special to us. We hope you can join us there :) Love, Ethan and Suz
