Albany International Airport

If you’re planning to fly in for the wedding, Albany International Airport (ALB) is the closest and only major airport in the area. The town where we’re hosting the wedding, Lake George, is about an hour drive north of the airport, so we recommend planning to rent a car with friends or arrange transportation ahead of time via Uber or Lyft. Please let us know if you have any questions as we know a lot of you are traveling a great distance to spend this special weekend with us.

Accomodations

We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible, as prices in the area tend to increase during the summer and availability can fill up quickly. There are several hotels nearby, which are a convenient option. However, we personally suggest looking into AirBnb rentals or VRBO rentals, as they’re often more budget friendly and offer more space, especially for families or groups traveling together. For the most convenience, we recommend staying in Lake George. It’s the closest area with the most lodging options, restaurants, and things to do, and it makes getting to and from the wedding events much easier. *Due to the summer time and the hotel prices room blocks will not be provided.
