Things To Do

A few of our favorite spots around Mobile

POST

571 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36602

Our first date spot! Lovely cocktail bar with elevated bar bites.

The Noble South

203 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36602

Farm-to-table Southern soul food with a modern twist—and the only Michelin guide recommended restaurant in the area.

the Insider • a collective eatery

518 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36602

Group split on what to eat for dinner? Insider is a food court style restaurant with everything from smashburgers to sushi. Something for everybody!

Carpe Diem Coffee & Tea Company

4072 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL 36608

Our absolute favorite coffee shop. And yes, even Ethan. Mostly because they have coca-cola in the glass bottle. Coffee lovers will be comforted to know that Liv finds it the best coffee in the city!

Urban Emporium LLC

260 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36602

A great stop downtown if you feel a little shop-y. Jewelry, clothing, candles/soaps, artwork, glassware, flavored olive oils, and so much more. (If we've given you a gift in the past few years, it probably came from here)

Lupercalia Art Gallery

358 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36602

Easily the coolest art gallery downtown. Wall-to-wall art with everything from traditional canvas paintings to pottery and ceramics. There's also a basement? In Mobile? Check it out!

Las Floriditas

107 Saint Francis Street, Mobile, AL 36602

Speaking of basements - there's a Cuban-themed speakeasy under the Trustmark Building! Their password is posted daily on their social media accounts (@lasfloriditas on Instagram and Facebook) and they have a dress code, but the drinks & apps are beyond worth it.

Greer's St. Louis Market

260 Saint Louis Street, Mobile, AL 36602

We know, we know. A grocery store? Yes, a grocery store. One that has a rooftop lounge area, hot bar with great food, an actual bar, fresh-cut flowers, barista-made coffee, and so much more. Don't knock it 'til you try it!
