FAQs
Question

Where and when is the wedding?

Answer

Saturday, October 24, 2026, on Monroe Street in Mobile, Alabama. The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM — arrive a few minutes early to grab a welcome champagne and settle in.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Not quite — but the journey is part of the fun. The ceremony takes place at our home, followed by a second line procession down Monroe Street to the reception venue. A second line is a New Orleans tradition that's equal parts parade, celebration, and dance party. More details to come.

Question

What will the weather be like? What if it rains?

Answer

Late October on the Gulf Coast is famously "we'll see." Bring a light layer. If weather becomes a factor, we have a plan and we'll communicate any updates directly — but either way, we're getting married.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden Cocktail Attire — elevated but not stuffy. Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, dressy separates, and jumpsuits are great for ladies; sport coat and trousers for gentlemen, ties optional. Fall colors are welcome but not required. The evening moves between indoor and outdoor spaces with a short walk involved, so if your shoes tend to lose arguments with brick or uneven pavement, plan accordingly. One request: please skip white, ivory, cream, champagne, or anything that might photograph as white.

Question

Is the ceremony seated?

Answer

Partially. We'll have around 100 seats with additional standing room — we designed it to feel gathered and social rather than rows-of-chairs traditional. Anyone who needs a seat should absolutely take one.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, with one exception: after the bride walks down the aisle, we'll pause for a group photo moment. After that, phones away — we want everyone present with us. Our photographer has it covered, and we'll share photos afterward.

Question

Will dinner and alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes and yes. Rather than a plated dinner, expect a variety of food offerings throughout the evening, plus beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Please celebrate responsibly and plan your ride home accordingly. We will have vegetarian and nut-free dishes available. Please contact the bridge & groom with any other allergies.

Question

Will transportation or parking be provided?

Answer

Parking is available; additional details coming closer to the date. Transportation won't be provided, so we recommend ridesharing, carpooling, or a designated driver.

Question

Can I bring a plus one? What about kids?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, invitations are extended only to those listed on your invitation — this goes for plus ones and children alike. If you're unsure who's included in your household, just reach out.

Question

Are there other wedding events I should attend?
