This place is really special to us because the day we went to Stone Mountain was the day that Ethan asked me to be his girlfriend. At Stone Mountain Park you can do several outdoor and fun activities. Some popular ones include: Hike the Walk-Up Trail to the top of the mountain for panoramic views of Atlanta. Ride the Summit Skyride, a cable car that takes you to the top without hiking. Take the Scenic Railroad, a historic train that circles the mountain. Enjoy Stone Mountain Lake with kayaking or paddleboarding. Watch the evening light or drone show projected onto the mountain during certain seasons. Zipline, mini golf, or ropes courses for more adventure activities. Picnic, walk nature trails, or fish around the park’s large lake and green areas.
