Ethan and I love hiking here. You can pay to park or park outside the gate along Highway 1 as long as you hide any valuable. Driving through the park is also enjoyable!

We loved biking out to this spot every time Ethan would visit Monterey. It a gorgeous place for a picnic.

Bixby Creek Bridge

If you are a fan of Big Little Lies or just love awesome lookouts this one is a must see. It's absolutely breath taking. Be careful walking along the sandy cliffs. Sunsets here are amazing!

Old Fisherman's Wharf

A bit touristy but always great to visit. We recommend getting margaritas at Dominico's towards the end of the pier on the right hand side. The pier also has a WHALE WATCHING BOATS that leave 2 times a day. Make reservations online or the day before.

Carmel-by-the-Sea

This photo was taken just up the road but the beach is dog friendly and Bailey has ruined many family picnics here. We DO NOT recommend taking your lunch with you but a nice cold brew would be perfect. From the beach you can see the PGA Pebble Beach Golf Course.
